Adur & Worthing Councils are to streamline their grants process to make applications simpler and less time-consuming for community groups. From this year four grants - the Adur Community Grant, Community Transport Grant, Worthing Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Neighbourhood Fund and income from textile recycling in Adur - will now be pooled into one pot of money with one application form, one set of funding criteria and a consistent assessment process.

Residents, businesses and organisations are being invited to quiz Hemiko, the designers and builders of the Worthing Heat Network, ahead of phase two of the project beginning.Worthing Borough Council is working in partnership with low-carbon energy company Hemiko to deliver the Worthing Heat Network, which will bring sustainable heating to buildings and homes in the town.
