Adur & Worthing Councils will provide more financial support for schemes that tackle the effects of the cost of living crisis with money from the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).The councils have secured over £650,000 from the central government fund, with the largest portion set aside for projects that support residents in Adur and Worthing with the cost of living.

Worthing Borough Council has won its latest battle to protect Chatsmore Farm from development.The Planning Inspectorate has rejected Persimmon Homes’ appeal against the council’s refusal to grant planning permission for 475 properties on the green gap between Worthing and Ferring.
