Adur and Worthing residents are being invited to help shape Adur & Worthing Councils’ new corporate strategy.The Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committee (JOSC) will be scrutinising the councils’ new strategy, called Fair, Green & Local, at its next meeting and is inviting residents to ask questions about the strategy during the public question time section.

Adur and Worthing Councils launches food waste competition
Adur & Worthing Councils is giving away hot composting bins as part of Food Waste Action Week 2024.Residents are being asked to send in their top tips for reducing food waste at home for a chance to win one of six hot composting bins.
By heating the waste up to 60°C, hot bins can turn food waste into compost in 30 to 90 days. The councils have been given six hot bins (three large and three small) by West Sussex County Council and want to give residents the opportunity to start composting at home.
