Worthing’s leading social care charity, Guild Care, held a launch event on Friday 26 July to officially open its new Community Office in Portland Road, Worthing.
The Mayor of Worthing and representatives from local councils and fellow charities attended the launch, together with Guild Care trustees and members of the charity’s diverse community services.

Councillor Sophie Cox has been elected as the new leader of Worthing Borough Council.
She succeeds Dr Beccy Cooper, who stood down as a councillor earlier this month following her election as the new MP for Worthing West.
Cllr Cox, who represents Castle Ward, was previously the deputy leader of the council. She named Cllr Rita Garner as the new deputy leader at the meeting of the full council at Worthing Town Hall last night (23/7/24).
