Bigger and better Worthing Festival to return in June 2024

It’s official, the Worthing Festival is coming back next summer, with work already underway to deliver an even bigger and better celebration of arts and culture in the town.

Following the ambitious debut festival earlier this year, the multi-arts celebration is confirmed to be returning next summer for two weeks of action-packed events covering music, dance, art, heritage, comedy and more.

Worthing community groups celebrate funding success

Groups from across Worthing have come together to build connections and celebrate their successful bids for funding from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Neighbourhood Fund.

Over £577,000 from Worthing Borough Council’s CIL Neighbourhood Fund was successfully bid for by 45 community groups and voluntary sector organisations in September this year.

The award-winning Frantic Assembly return to Worthing with a powerful new production of Kafka’s Meta

Worthing Theatres and Museum are delighted to announce that Frantic Assembly are returning to Worthing this October with Metamorphosis. Directed by Frantic Assembly’s Artistic Director Scott Graham and adapted by internationally celebrated poet, playwright and broadcaster Lemn Sissay OBE, Metamorphosis is Frantic Assembly’s first new production since 2019. Metamorphosis will run at the Connaught Theatre from Tuesday 3 - Saturday 7 October 2023.
