Worthing businesses and residents invited to help scrutinise Worthing Heat Network

Residents, businesses and organisations are being invited to quiz Hemiko, the designers and builders of the Worthing Heat Network, ahead of phase two of the project beginning.

Worthing Borough Council is working in partnership with low-carbon energy company Hemiko to deliver the Worthing Heat Network, which will bring sustainable heating to buildings and homes in the town.

Worthing invites expressions of interest to invest in two key sites

Worthing Borough Council is to give organisations the chance to invest in prominent local sites, marking an important step towards new community-focused opportunities and future activities for the town.

The programme will launch with two sites - a section of land at Brooklands Park and West Buildings Shelter on Worthing Promenade.

PLATINUM EAST COAST HIP HOP TRIO LORDS OF THE UNDERGROUND ANNOUNCE WORTHING CONCERT

Paul Brewer confirmed as new chief executive of Adur & Worthing Councils

Since July 2025, Mr Brewer has been serving as interim chief executive of the councils, following the departure of Dr Catherine Howe to take on the same role at Dorset Council.

On Thursday night, his appointment as chief executive and head of the paid service was ratified at Adur District Council’s full council meeting. Worthing Borough Council’s full council ratified the appointment at its meeting on Tuesday October 21.
