ROYAL PAVILION AND THE IVY ASIA LAUNCH THE ULTIMATE DRAGON DINING AND CULTURE EXPERIENCE

The partnership, launched this spring, combines captivating art and history with bold flavours to support Brighton Heritage. A new collaboration between Brighton’s Royal Pavilion and The Ivy Asia Brighton invites visitors to immerse themselves in a world of myth, art and flavour, with the ultimate dragon-inspired culture and dining experience.
Running from 27 April to 27 July 2026, the Royal Dragons experience celebrates the power, beauty and mystery of one of the world’s most iconic mythical figures while also directly supporting the preservation of the city’s cultural heritage. Inspired by the new Dragons exhibition at the Royal Pavilion, the partnership blends heritage and hospitality into a unique cultural offering.

At the heart of the initiative is a charitable contribution. The Ivy Asia Brighton will donate £10 per adult ticket and £5 per child ticket sold to Brighton & Hove Museums. These funds will support the charity’s vital work to preserve and share the city’s unique heritage and collections for generations to come.

Visitors are invited to begin their journey at the Royal Pavilion, exploring dragon-adorned interiors, luxurious Chinese-inspired design, mythical Asian symbols of power, play and fashion, and theatrical flair. From fearsome beasts to those proudly glimmering in gold or hiding in unexpected places, each dragon reveals a story of artistry, symbolism, and the enduring fascination with the exotic and the extraordinary.

The experience then continues just a short walk away at The Ivy Asia Brighton, where guests will enjoy a specially curated, exclusive two-course menu accompanied by a glass of Champagne.
The menu reflects the fire and intensity of the dragon, with bold, imaginative flavours including pork and kimchi gyoza, gochujang-glazed chicken, and Keralan chickpea and aubergine curry.

Simon Gregory, Group Executive Chef at The Ivy Asia Brighton said:
“This collaboration with the Royal Pavilion builds on our shared passion for Asian culture and influence. The experience delivers a captivating fusion of art, culture and cuisine at exceptional value, with an important charitable element at its heart to help support the ongoing preservation of this iconic landmark for future generations to enjoy.”

Hedley Swain, CEO of Brighton & Hove Museums, said:
“Royal Dragons is a fantastic example of how creative partnerships can make a real difference. Every ticket purchased directly supports our work caring for Brighton & Hove’s extraordinary collections and heritage. We’re delighted to be working with The Ivy Asia Brighton on such an imaginative and impactful collaboration.”

The Royal Dragons experience is priced at £58 per adult and £36.50 per child (usually £78.50 and £40.40) and includes:
•Annual pass to the Royal Pavilion and admission to the Dragons exhibition
•A two-course Royal Dragons set menu with a glass of Champagne (or children’s menu) at The Ivy Asia Brighton, available for lunch or dinner

With every ticket contributing to the future of Brighton’s cultural heritage, Royal Dragons offers visitors a chance to indulge in an unforgettable experience while contributing to the preservation of Brighton’s cultural heritage.
