Please remember the following points when delivering:
· Always push the paper all the way through the letterbox and make sure it has reclosed
· Never leave papers on the floor in flats or on doorsteps
· Above everything, stay safe
With the weather becoming increasingly more wet, can we remind you not to deliver the papers in rain. We don’t want you getting soaked and ill, but also the papers get damaged and unreadable. With the weather being unpredictable, we advise that you deliver your round as soon as you can, rather than leave it until the last minute. If it is raining and your delivery has been left to the last minute, you will not meet the delivery deadline.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not going to finish your round on time. We are a small business and rely completely on advertisers to cover the cost of printing and distribution. If the papers are delivered late or in a damaged state, advertisers will stop advertising with us and we will no longer be able to produce the papers. We go straight into the production of the next month’s editions after the previous one has been delivered, so if you miss the delivery deadline, we do not have the time to check maps and payments, so you may have to wait until he following month to receive your pay.
